The Fisher-Price Discover 'n Grow Swing 'n Seat claims to be a portable swing and a stationary seat. It features vibrations, songs, removable toy bar and a multi-speed swing. The toy bar contains spinnable toys that promise hours of fun for baby. The Fisher-Price Discover 'n Grow Swing 'n Seat plays music, and you have your choice of two levels of volume, the swing has one level of "calming vibrations" and 5 swing speeds. All of the features are all separated which means you can do each feature separate or all together. it requires batteries which are not included, 4 C batteries and 1 D battery. The swing has a decently high weight capacity of 25 pounds which in my opinion, adds to the durability.

What works? 
My favorite part of the swing is the separated functions. I like that you can play just music, or just turn on the vibrations or swing... or all three together. The levels of speed of the swing function are nice because as baby gets heavier the higher speeds work well. What doesn't work?
My least favorite part of the swing is the amount of batteries it takes, which are not included. This thing takes 4 C batteries plus 1 D battery and it eats up the C batteries which can get kind of expensive. I recommend getting rechargeable batteries for this. I also noticed that sometimes the swing seems to "tweak" and stop swinging until you turn the swing speed off and then back on again. I have summed up the worst qualities of the swing: Goes through batteries quickly, (4 C batteries and 1 D battery) Batteries are not included Swing sometimes stops for no reason but overall, I am happy with the swing, and my baby loved it. If your looking for something simple, with some cool extra features. For the price, the Fisher-Price Discover 'n Grow Swing 'n Seat swing is perfect.
